Editing

We have started by deleting footage that we weren't going to use, then with the remaining footage, we put the clips in order. We added transitions such as; overlap, ripple, warp out, disintegrate and we put in titles. With the original synchronized sound, we extracted it and then re-sync it somewhere else.

Filming

On Wednesday 26th we went to a rave, in Shoreditch, called 'Herbal'. We interviewed Spektrums, LD, KLP, Chef, Bam and N Dot. Along with the interviews, we got some in rave footage. 

On Monday 5th, Max and Amy went to Spektrum's studio, which was set up in his bedroom and got footage of him spinning his decks (DJ'ing). He also managed to get an interview with him.

Group Pitch - Dubstep

We have decided to do our documentary on Dubstep. Dubstep is a modern form of underground dance music drawing its roots from ska and two step, alongside jungle and, drum and base. This is in order to create a dark sense of rhythm that even the most music illiterate person can enjoy the sound of. Dubstep is something that is all around us but some of us are still oblivious to it. The documentary is to inform and document the history of a new scene in the making. We hope you enjoy our finished product.
